FAAFO Mystery School

FAAFO Mystery School is returning in a simpler, slower, more spacious form.

I ran a version of this mystery school before I moved to Brazil. When I moved, I closed it. Now I am opening the doors again, but not as a traditional school, not as a guru space, and not as a place where anyone is expected to believe what I believe.

This is a space for inquiry.

Each pavilion introduces a topic. I, or a guest instructor, may share a perspective. Then you study at your own pace, sit with what you find, compare ideas, and decide what makes sense to you.

No dogma.

No spiritual performance.

No forced agreement.

No one has to prove they are enlightened.

No one has to argue their beliefs.

You can move quietly through the materials on your own, or you can meet others in the virtual lunchroom if you want to discuss what you are learning.

FAAFO Mystery School is bilingual. Materials will be available in English and Brazilian Portuguese.

For now, access is free.

A FAAFO Mystery School está voltando de uma forma mais simples, mais lenta e com mais espaço.

Eu já tive uma versão dessa escola antes de me mudar para o Brasil. Quando me mudei, eu fechei. Agora estou abrindo as portas de novo, mas não como uma escola tradicional, não como um espaço de guru, e não como um lugar onde alguém precisa acreditar no que eu acredito.

Este é um espaço de investigação.

Cada pavilhão apresenta um tema. Eu, ou uma pessoa convidada, posso compartilhar uma perspectiva. Depois disso, você estuda no seu próprio ritmo, observa o que encontra, compara ideias e decide o que faz sentido para você.

Sem dogma.

Sem performance espiritual.

Sem obrigação de concordar.

Ninguém precisa provar que é iluminado.

Ninguém precisa discutir ou defender suas crenças.

Você pode seguir os materiais em silêncio, no seu próprio tempo, ou encontrar outras pessoas no refeitório virtual se quiser conversar sobre o que está aprendendo.

The Opening Perspective A Perspectiva Inicial

Digital Hermetics explores what happens when old principles meet modern networks.

This classroom begins with one question: if "as above, so below" describes correspondence between worlds, what does that mean in a digital world where attention, identity, language, image, memory, and influence move through invisible systems every day?

This is not a class about proving Hermeticism right or wrong.

It is an inquiry into pattern.

We will look at ancient ideas about correspondence, polarity, vibration, rhythm, cause and effect, and mentalism. Then we will place them beside modern digital life: algorithms, social media, artificial intelligence, online identity, digital reputation, search behavior, and the way attention shapes reality.

The goal is not to worship old texts or fear new technology.

The goal is to notice what repeats.

First, you will be introduced to the topic. Then you will receive one perspective from me or an instructor. After that, you will study, question, compare, and bring back what you find. Then we experiment.

By the end of this session, you should be able to ask better questions about the digital spaces you move through, the signals you respond to, and the systems quietly shaping what you believe is real.

A practical closing exercise. Choose one digital pattern in your own life, observe it, trace its cause, test a shift, and report what changed.

It can be a platform, a habit, a search behavior, a type of content you keep seeing, a phrase you keep repeating, or a reaction you keep having.

Track it for seven days.

Ask:

— What keeps pulling my attention?
— What belief does this pattern reinforce?
— What emotion does it feed?
— What does the system reward?
— What happens if I interrupt the pattern?
